Green Chilies: 250 grams
Curry Leaves: 20 leaves
White Cumin: 50 grams
Crushed Coconut: 50 grams
Tamarind: 200 grams
Crushed Red Pepper: 2 tablespoon
Coriander Powder: 2 tablespoon
Salt: as per taste
Turmeric Powder: 1 tablespoon
Onion: 3 medium
Garlic Ginger Paste
How to make Hari Mirch ka Salan


Slightly roast cumin and coconut and grind together.
Fry onions until colored brown and remove from pan.
Now put green chilies and curry leaves in oil and cover the pan.
Then add garlic paste and a little water.
And then add all spices, roast and add some water.
Blend onions in a blender and put in pan.
After cooking for some time, add tamarind juice in the pan and cook.
After around 10 minutes, check if a layer of oil has appeared, hari mirch ka salan is ready.
Serve it with hot chapati or naan.
You can also serve it with boiled rice and pulse (daal chawal).

hari mirch salan is good. I had enjoyed it before. However I want to know that does this chilli use capsicum? because I have observed that capsicum is added in these kinds of dishes and I particularly use these capsicum (shimla mirch) , it adds taste.
