Dum Pukht Gosht
Dam Pukht is a simple but delicious meaty dish that is prepared with a blend of different spices. Allow marinating for more passionate taste. So let’s try this recipe and enjoy it with roti and nan.
Ingredients
• Mutton 1 kg
• Cardamom 4-5 ct
• Onion 4-5 slices
• Red peppers 7-10 whole
• Yogurt 1/2 kg
• Garam masala 2 tbsp
• Salt 1 1/2 tsp
• Oil 1/2 cup
• Garlic paste 1 tbsp
• Cook time= 60 minutes & Serves= 4 person
How to make Dum Pukht Gosht
Method
Put mutton, oil, onion, and red chilies in pan, mix all-spice powder in yogurt and pour over meat mixture.
Cook (uncovered) on high heat for about 10 minutes.
Add salt, cardamom and garlic paste.
Seal the pan and lid with flour (if not using pressure cooker), and cook on very low heat for 45 minutes.
If water has not dried, cook on high heat till it does and only thick gravy is left.
Do not stir hard.
Serve garnished with coriander.
