Cottage Pie
It is traditional with healthy twist containing 10g Protein, 26g Carbohydrates and 4g saturated fat per serving.
Ingredients
Beef mince 1 kg
Oil 4 tbsp
Onion chopped 50 gm
Garlic chopped 50 gm
Tomatoes chopped 300 gm
Paprika powder 15 gm
Beef stock 1 cube
Potatoes, peeled and boiled 500 gm
Butter 50 gm
Milk 150 ml
Salt to taste!
How to make Cottage Pie
Method
Heat oil in a saucepan and saute onion, garlic and celery till onions are transparent.
Add mince and saute till brown.
Add tomatoes, stock cube and paprika powder and very little salt in it.
Cook till beef is cooked.
Mash potatoes well, add butter and milk.
Mix it well. Add salt to taste.
Put the cooked beef in a dish, cover it with mashed potatoes.
Bake till the top is slightly golden brown.
Serve with boiled or grilled vegetables.
