Arvi Kay Pattay 10-12
Gram flour - 1 cup
Roasted and powdered Cumin seeds - 1 tablespoon
Red chilli powder 1/2 tablespoon
Tamarind paste 2 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Ajwain 1/2 tablespoon
Oil 1 cup for frying
How to make Arvi Kay Pattay
METHOD:
Step 1: First of all, washed arvi leaves and spread out in a colander to dry.
Step 2: Make a mixture of gram flour with all ingredients (Red chili powder, Salt, Ajwain, Tamarind paste etc)
Step 3: Add some water if required, then spread the mixture on the back of each leaf and role it up.
Step 4: Steam all rolled leaves in a hot water, turn when one side is done, Remove from heat.
Step 5: After steaming fry the leaves on low heat till golden brown in a large karahi.
Step 6: Drain and spread on absorbent kitchen paper and served with salad and raita.
