Aloo Mattar Sabzee
THIS IS SIMPLE AND EASY.IT IS A FAVOURITE OF EVERY PUNJABI.
Ingredients
Potatoes or aloo cut in chunks 1 kg
Peas or Mattar 1/2 kg
Tomatoes 2 large
Ginger garlic paste 2 tablespoon
1 small onion
Red chillies 1 teaspoon
Black pepper 1 teaspoon
Asfoetida 1/2 teaspoon
Amchoor powder 1 teaspoon
Green chillies 6
Oil 3 tablespoons
Salt to taste
How to make Aloo Mattar Sabzee
Method
Take a pan and put oil in it.
Add onion, lightly brown.Add all spices and ginger garlic paste.Fry till golden brown.
Now add tomatoes and spices.
Fry for 5 minutes.
Add aloo and mattar.
Fry another 5 minutes.
Add a glass of water.Boil and let simmer for few minutes.
Remove when tender and serve a delicious dish with plain rice or roti.
