4 medium-sized potatoes (boiled, peeled and cubed)
25 grams almonds
25 grams peanuts (roasted)
4 tbisps ghee
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 piece ginger (minced)
1 tblsp garam masala
1 tblsp cumin (powdered)
1 thIsp coriander seeds
salt and chili powder to taste
a few sprigs coriander leaves (chopped fine)
How to make Almond Potatoes


Grind the nuts coarse. Heat the ghee, adding the cumin seeds and then the ginger. When the seeds stop popping, add the nuts, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander seeds, salt and chilli powder. Now add the potatoes and fry till they turn a rich red. Serve garnished with fresh coriander leaves.
