INGREDIENTS:

White lentils 1 cup
Salt ¼ tsp
Baking soda 1 pinch
Yogurt 2 cup (whisked)
Fresh Coriander 2 tbsp (chopped)
White cumin 1 tsp (roasted and powder)
Ginger ½ inch piece (chopped)
Red chillies powder 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

For Garnishing:
Tamarind chutney 2tbsp
freash Coriander 2 tbsp


How to make Mash Ki Daal Kay Dahi Baray



METHOD:

• Wash lentils and soak overnight, drain water and grind.
• Add salt and baking soda, mix well and leave aside.
• Heat oil in a wok, take spoonfuls of mixture and fry dumplings till golden.
• Soak the fried dumplings in warm water for 10 minutes.
• Now lightly press the dumplings between your palms to squeeze out water and arrange them neatly in a serving dish.
• Add salt, red chillies, ginger, cumin and fresh coriander in yogurt, mix well and pour on baray.
• Garnish delicious dahi baray with tamarind chutney and fresh coriander and serve.
