Dried Meat Strips Recipe (in English)

Ingredients:

  • Veal: 1 kg
  • Red Chili:1 tablespoon
  • Garlic Ginger Powder:1 tablespoon
  • Salt:as per taste

Method

  1. Season meat with all spices, thread in a string and hang in sharp sunshine for 4 to 5 days.
  2. Later 5 days, when meat is fully dried, remove the string and store in an air-tight container.
  3. Fry in oil when needed and eat with lentil rice or whichever the way you like.
  4. If it is stiff to eat, crush the meat with batan or some other heavy stone before frying.

NOTE:
  • When you will dry meat in sunshine, cover it in a cloth to keep it safe from flies, eagles and crows.
  • If there is no suitable place for hanging the meat, you can also place it open in a wide platter cover/tie with a cloth to save from cats.
