* 1 Cup Soji
* 1/2 Cup Habib banaspati Ghee
* 1/2 Cup Sugar
* 4 Cups of Water
* 12 Almonds (de-skinned & chopped)
* 4 Green Cardamoms (crushed)
* Saffron a few strands (Optional)

How to make Suji Ka Shahi Halwa


Soak the almonds in warm water to aid in peeling off the skin.

Lets start off with making the syrup by boiling the water, sugar, green cardamoms, and saffron together for 5 minutes. Set aside.

Now heat the habib ghee in a deep pan then add all soji and fry it with continuous stirring to avoid sticking. Do it till it is golden brown and a nice aroma arises.

Mix the syrup with the soji, keep stirring briskly and cook till the habib ghee surfaces and the soji leaves the sides of the pan.

Serve immediately, garnished with almonds and pistachio.

Hi I want to make this suji shahi halwa recipe, please tell me how does it taste and what is the best feature of this halwa as compared to a common suji halwa. I shall make it for ali and irsa - my little angels.
