Milk 2 cups
Sugar ½ cup
Vanilla Custard powder 2 tbsp
Bread 6 slIces
Cream ½ cup
Pistachios 1 tbsp
Glace cherries 1 tbsp
Water ¼ cup
Ghee ½ cup

How to make Shahi Custard


Cut slices of bread into triangles and fry in ghee till light brown.

After frying put n absorbent paper.

In another pan boil milk, sugar and water and stir until sugar dissolves.

When milk comes to a boil, drop the fried bread and allow soaking up the milk.

Remove the bread and place in a serving dish.

Make a thin paste of custard powder, the rest of the sugar and milk and cook for 3 minutes.

Pour over the bread and decorate with cream cherries and pistachios.

Serve chilled.
