Pakora is deep fried snack made with cooked Rice, lentil or Besan (Ground Flour), onion and mild spices. Lets here come to know how to make rice Pakora, it’s very easy to prepare and give you the perfect taste of Pakora.

Ingredients

Basin ½ cup
Rice (boiled) 2 cups
Green chilies (cut into pieces) 1 tbsp
Onions (thinly sliced) ½ cup
Green coriander (finely cut) 1 tbsp
Ginger (thinly cut) 1 tsp
Chat masala 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

How to make Rice Pakoras

Method

Mix all the ingredients except oil to make a thick paste in ¼ cup of water. In a wok heat oil and add the paste in it with a spoon in the form of pakoras. Cook until pakoras turn golden.

Serve with your favourite chatni.

Stuffed Mirch Pakora Recipe can be easily prepared within just 10 minutes. To prepare the snack, take one cup gram flour, 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain), 1/4 tablespoon chili powder, 1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder (haldi), 1/4 garam masala powder, 1 pinch of asafetida, 1 pinch of baking soda, salt as required by taste and water as required to make it a thick paste. After that, make a thick paste out of all the ingredients placed above and mix well into a thick paste. This will be used to coat the green chilies. Then, slit the green chili from the middle or one side, only slit as much to not break the chilies. Additionally, with a spoon scoop out the seeds and pith then coat the chili piece with the batter thoroughly twice or more properly. In a frying pan, pour oil and let it heat up until the required temperature. Once it’s done heating, carefully place all the chilies in the heated oil to fry until they are crisp brown. Now, serve with pav, bread or as a side dish for your family to enjoy. It is also amazing to eat during the monsoon season or rainy season.
