Ingredients for pie
Flour 3 cups
Powder milk 2 tbsp
Egg 1
Salt 1 tsp
Caster sugar 1 tbsp
Oil ¼ cup
Instant yeast 1 ½ tbsp
Ingredients for filling:
Bhuna keema 1 cup
Mushrooms chopped 4
Capsicum chopped 3 tbsp
Onion coarsely chopped 3 tbsp
Pizza sauce ½ cup
Mozzarella cheese ½ cup
Grated cheddar cheese ½ cup
For pizza sauce
1 cup tomato puree
1 tsp salt and pepper
1/2 tsp oregano (if available)
2 cloves of chopped garlic
METHOD:
To make sauce , heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan, ad garlic chopped and saute, add tomato puree ans all spices and cooked for 10 mins your sauce is ready.
In a bowl add all the ingredients and knead to a soft dough, leave to rise for 30 minutes, grease a pie tin , divide the dough into 2 portions, roll one into ¼ inch thick, spread on a pie plate, spread with 2 tbsp pizza sauce, 3 tbsp cheddar cheese grated, capsicum, onion, mushrooms, mince meat or chicken tikka chunks or chicken smoke cuts or cooked chicken in your own style, now roll the 2nd dough into a thinly roti, put it on the top, seal the edges, prick the top with fork, bake for 15 minutes, then slightly brown, remove, spread with 2 tbsp pizza sauce, ½ grated cheddar cheese, 1 tbsp mozzarella cheese, re bake for another 5 minutes.
Shireen aunty used olives as well but I didn t as they are little bit expensive.
