500 grams mincemeat or kheema
1 slice of bread
4 tblsps cream
a few tblsps ghee
1 large onion
4 flakes garlic (chopped)
1 piece ginger (chopped)
2 handfuls coriander leaves
12 mint leaves
4 green chillies
1 thIsp each of gram masala and coriander powder
100 grams cashew nuts
25 grams almonds (blanched)
25 grams peanuts (roasted)
a few dry plums
2 eggs (beaten)
1 large cup bread-crumbs oil or ghee for frying

METHOD:
Boil the kheema in salted water till tender and dry. Soak bread in cream till soft. Fry the onion and garlic and grind to a paste along with the ginger, coriander leaves, mint, green .chillies, garam masala, coriander powder and all the nuts. Now mix in the creamed bread till smooth. Form the mixture into round balls, each around a whole plum, then dip in egg, roll in crumbs and deep fry till golden-brown. Drain, cover with foil and serve hot, along with a chutney of your choice.
