How to make Kishmishi Pulao
METHOD:
Clean ½ kg rice and soak it for 1-2 hours.
Take 2-3 tbsp oil in the pan and heat it sauté 2 cinnamon sticks and 3-4 cloves.
Add in 1 onion, garlic and 1 kg chicken.
Cook it well. Then add in 1 cup yogurt, 1 tsp crushed black pepper, ½ tsp cardamom, and salt and 1 tsp cumin seeds.
When the mixture start drying add in 1 – 1 ½ jug of water and leave it to cook.
When the chicken is cooked and stocks is ready then add in rice.
In a separate pan add in 1 grated carrot, ½ cup raisins, 1 tbsp sugar and water. cook it for 3-5 minutes.
Add this mixture in the pulao and serve it hot.
