Gram lentil (boiled)................250 grams
Bottle gourd (cut and boiled)................½ kg
Water................1 cup
Onion (chopped)................1
Tomatoes (boiled and chopped)................4
Black cardamom................2
Cloves................4
Green cardamom................4
Curry leaves................5 - 6
Ginger (chopped)................1 medium sized piece
Garlic (chopped)................4 cloves
Red chili powder................1 tbsp
Black pepper corn................½ tsp
Tamarind powder................1 tsp
Green chillies (thickly cut)................6
Fresh coriander (chopped)................2 tbsp
Salt................to taste
Oil................½ cup
Parathy................as accompaniment
FOR FRY:
Oil................½ Cup
Onion (Chopped)................1

How to make Fried Loki And Chaney Ki Daal
METHOD:
1. Heat oil in a pan , add ginger, garlic, onion, and curry leaves. Fry till the onion softens.
2. Add red chili powder, turmeric, salt, and bottle gourd and mix well.
3. Add lentil, cloves, black cardamoms and black pepper and fry, cook for a few minutes.
4. Add tomatoes and cook till water is dry.
5. Add Green chillies and Fresh coriander and leave on dum.
6. Serve hot with Parathas.
