Almonds 1 cup ( soaked and peeled)
Sugar 4 cups
Water 5 cups
Elaichi powder ( cardamom powder) 2 teaspoon
How to make Badaam Sharbat
METHOD:
Soak almonds for over night . then peel off its skin and grind it to a paste ( little amount of water can be used while grinding to make paste if needed) ..put in on side
In a pot/ dekchi , put sugar and water and cook it until you see single strand ( uswaqht tak pakayein jabtak sheera ka ek taar Na bunjaye.)
Then add grounded almond paste ( paste badam)to syrup and elaichi powder ( cardamom powder) .
let it cook for about 10 minutes on very low flame.
Then turn off stove..let it cool then store it in a bottle and use accordingly 1 -2 tablespoon in a glass of milk or water or as per taste however you like.
You can store it in a shelf ..as it is not preferred to store it in refrigerator.
It thickens due to sugar syrup .
