Salt Lahori: to taste
Vinegar White: 1 cup
Lemon JuIce: 1/4 cup
Garlic: 10 Cloves
• Crushed Black Pepper: 2 tsp
Beef or Mutton: 2 kg (whole piece of undercut)
Butter: 3 tbsp


How to make Hunter Beef



* Make small holes in beef or mutton with a small knife and put a garlic clove in each hole.
* Put vinegar, Lahori salt, black pepper and lemon juice in a bowl, mix well.
* Apply this mixture on beef or mutton and cover with plastic sheet.
* Leave it to marinate overnight.
* Steam it in the steamer for 30 minutes and then apply butter and bake in a pre-heated oven for 15 minutes.
* Delicious Hunter beef or mutton hunter is ready to be served, enjoy.

Hunter or corned beef is liked all over Pakistan and especially in the days of Eid ul Adha, people tend to prepare this dish from the meat of Qurbani. It's recipe involves first making slits in the piece of meat, then filling them with garlic and then marinating the spice all over. After storing it over the night, it is steamed for around half hour and then baked with butter for 15 minutes. Generally, it is available throughout the year but after Eid ul Adha, it becomes very high in demand. Other than bakeries, shops and fast food sellers, people theirselves make this spicy dish with the meat of qurbani. As on Eid ul Adha, after doing sacrifice, almost everyone has meat in the home and therefore people tend to make various delicious recipes and enjoy with friends and family.

It is actually a form of corned beef from Pakistani cuisine in which meat is first marinated with different kinds of spices and then baked to eat. It is used in different forms such as in salads, burgers, with chapati and also with just masala.

nice one, this is a great dish made with boneless beef. I haven't yet tried it with mutton but I will give it a try using mutton. Thanks for giving this useful idea. also this will be a great dish to enjoy on bakra eid.

It has a very good taste and we must store beef for long time to enjoy it whenever you want. In Bakra Eid, I fully enjoy beef dishes especially hunter beef, dried beef and shami kababs. Now I am looking for method to make mutton hunter ..
