Wash mince and fenugreek and place in a strainer
Add mince, thin chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, ginger garlic, salt, chilies,
turmeric, coriander and oil in a cooking pot and mix well together
Add a glass of water and cook
Check if water is dried and minced meat is tender, cook well until oil appears
Add fenugreek and mix well
Add green chilies and cook well
When fenugreek is tender, roast it.
If oil appears and becomes visible, methi keema is ready
Serve in a plate.
Recipe for Methi Keema
- Mince: 1/2 KG
- Salt: as required
- Ground Red Chili: 2 teaspoons
- Turmeric Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander Powder: 2 teaspoons
- Ginger Garlic: 1 tablespoon
- Onions: 1 medium
- Tomatoes: 3 pcs
- Oil: 1/2 cup
- Water: 1 glass
- Fenugreek: 1 kg (fresh)
- Green Chilies: 6 to 7
- Clean and wash fenugreek leaves and store in a strainer.
- Wash mince
too and store in the strainer to drain its water out.
Take mince in a cooking pot and add onions, tomatoes, ginger garlic, salt,
red chili, turmeric, ground coriander and oil and mix well. Add a glass of
water to the pot and place on stove for cooking.
- When mince water is
dried and it is tender, cook it well so that oil start appearing.
Mix fenugreek with roasted mince and mix well. Add green chilies too.
When fenugreek is tender, roast it well.
When oil comes up, Methi Keema is ready.
Transfer in a dish and enjoy with hot naan or roti.
