How to Make Zamardi Do Pyaza


Ingredients:

  • Meat: 1/2 kg
  • Salt: as per taste
  • Ginger Garlic Paste: 2 tbsp
  • Onion: 1 large
  • Crushed Coconut: 2 tbsp
  • Green Coriander: 1 bunch
  • Green Chillies: 8 to 10
  • Lemon Juice: 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Cooking Oil: 1/4 cup

 

Method

  1. Clean meat, wash and marinate with salt, ginger garlic and lemon juice for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in pan, add finely cut onion, fry until brown.
  3. Add marinated meat and roast well. Add one cup water and cook at low heat.
  4. Grind green coriander, coconut and green chillies to powder; add this mixture to meat when it is nearly tender.
  5. Cook on low flame until tender and layer of oil appears.
  6. Zamardi Do Pyaza is ready to serve.

Presentation:
Dish out and serve with sheermal and parathas.

Preparation: 20 to 25 minutes
Cooking: 40 to 45 minutes
Serving: 3 to 4
