Now add eggs and rice flour to fish batter and mix well.

Heat oil in a karahi or frying pan.

Preparing Thai Fish Recipe

Thai Fish Cutlets will be prepared in 3 stages.

1st Stage:
At first stage, we will prepare Thai curry paste. Though this paste is available in markets but you can also make it in your kitchen.

2nd Stage:
Here we will prepare fish cutlets.

3rd Stage:
Frying of fish cutlets.


1st Stage: Preparation of Thai Curry Paste


  • Tomatoes: 2 medium
  • Mustard Paste: 1 tablespoon
  • Red Pepper Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander Powder: 1/2 teaspoon


Prepare tomato paste in blender, add mustard paste, red pepper powder and coriander powder and mix all of these ingredients well together.

2nd Stage: Preparation of Fish Cutlets


  • Fish (without thorns): 1 kg (pieces)
  • Thai Curry Paste: 4 tablespoons
  • Green Onions: 3 to 4 (thin chopped)
  • Green Coriander: 1/2 bunch (thin chopped)
  • Red Chili: 1 tablespoon (crushed)
  • Rice Flour: 1/2 cup


Mix salt, Thai curry paste, green onions, green coriander and red chili with fish pieces, grind in a chopper and place in refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes.

Then mix eggs and rice flour with fish and form kababs. Now place these kababs in refrigerator again for 10 to 15 minutes.

Cutlets are ready.

3rd Stage: Frying


Heat oil in a frying or karahi pan at medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Fry cutlets at low flame until they turn golden brown in color. When one side is fried, fry from other side.

When cutlets are fried, remove from pan and place on an absorbent paper in order to remove extra oil.
