INGREDIENTS:

• Brain (Siri) 1
Onions 2
Ginger-Garlic paste 4 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
• Chili (grounded) 2 tsp
Coriander seeds (crushed) 2 tsp
• Turmeric 1/2 tsp
• Curd 1/2 cup
• Whole all spIce
• All spIce (grounded) 1 tsp
Oil 1/2 cup


How to make Siri Paya



METHOD:

1. First thoroughly wash the siri.
2. Then boil salt and turmeric.
3. Drain out and keep siri aside.
4. Heat oil in a pan and fry whole all spice and onions till golden brown.
5. Add in siri and fry well.
6. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry.
7. Add salt too.
8. Now add in coriander powder, red chilies, curd and fry.
9. Keep frying until oil starts to separate and float.
10. Add enough water to cook meat.
11. When the meat is tender add in grounded all-spice.
12. Cook till gravy thickens.
13. Garnish with lemon quarters and green chillies.
14. Serve hot with paye and naan.

siri paye or goat heads are the best things to enjoy after Bakra Eid. These foods are usually not eaten that's why post Eid ul Adha, everyone has meat, head, trotters and other parts, so it's a golden opportunity to enjoy them at this time.

wow after qurbani mom said that give the siri to someone but I said no! we will make a delicious siri paya curry . And see this in the picture, it looks very delicious , very good. I kept the siri and now I am happy I will enjoy it.

siri paya is nice great recipe to enjoy at home. Have it along white crispy tandoori naans, or with a taaftan roti. People don't know about its great taste. I know that's why I do not discard the siri paya of our qurbani animals.

wow siri paya, it's recipe.. i am planning to cook it for dinner tonight. Usually we see that siri paya is not eaten and people discard it away. But me and my husband love to eat it. My husband keeps it after qurbani and i cook it with the help of mom.
