100gm unsalted butter
100gm caster sugar
3 eggs, separated
100gm chocolate, melted
25gm flour
150gm ground walnuts
Icing:
50gm chocolate, chopped
50gm cream
To decorate : truffle chocolates
How to make Truffle Torte
METHOD:
Beat butter and sugar and add in the yolks, chocolate, flour and nuts. Beat egg whites stiff and fold in gently.
Pour in a 7” tin and bake for 40 minutes at 180°C, remove and cool.
For the icing, boil chocolate and cream together, stir till smooth and pour on cake.
Let set and mark wedges on the icing and decorate with truffle chocolates.
