• 1/4 tea spoon tea leaves.
• 1 pinch meetha soda (sodium bicarbonate).
• Salt to taste.
• 1 table spoon malai (fresh cream).
• 1 elaichi (cardamom).
• 3g crushed fresh adrak (ginger).
• 1 steel patila.
How to make Kashmiri Salt Tea
METHOD:
• Put tea leaves and meetha soda in a steel patila and add two cups of water.
• Keep it on a low flame for 20-25 minutes till the colour is blakish red.
• Add 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup milk, ginger, salt and crushed cardamom.
• Boil it on a medium flame.
• Pour in a cup, add cream and enjoy the taste and heavenly freshness.
