Barfi
Hey, here is an easy barfi recipe by Chef Noreen Amir. Prepare a wonderful barfi sweet at home with khoya, nutmeg, almonds, pistachio and vanilla powder. Now you don't need to spend money on buying burfi from outside, just make it at home.

Khoya 1/2kg
Sugar 250g
Nutmeg and mace powder a pinch
Cardamom powder a pinch
Vanilla powder a pinch
Ghee 1-2tbsp
Almonds and pistachios for garnishing
METHOD:
Cook the khoya in a wok, on a low flame, mixing continuously with a wooden spoon
When the khoya begins to soften and liquidize add the sugar and cook until the mixture begins to boil. Now turn the flame off.
Add a pinch of nutmeg mace and cardamom powder. Then add a pinch of vanilla powder and mix well
Grease a tray and spread the prepared mixture on top.
.Garnish with sliced almonds, pistachios and allow to set for 4-5 hours
Cut into squares and serve.
barfi is my favorite sweet dish as compared to all other sweets. I like it more than gulab jamun and cham cham and I would feel lucky to have it at home. I will make it myself and hope it will be a marvelous barfi.

Hmm very beautiful barfi. want to make it and to enjoy . but most probably it will be prepared on eid day , not before as in ramadan , it is hardly eaten in iftar. we will try if possible, we shall make it definitely. thanks chef noreen
