• 1 kg Beef
• 250 gm Onions (sliced thickly)
• ½ kg Yogurt (whipped)
• Potatoes 250 gm (cubed)
• Tomatoes 250 gm (cubed)
• Capsicums 250 gm (cubed)
• 1 cup Tomato paste
• 1 tsp Turmeric powder
• All spices powder 1 tsp
• Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
• Green chilli paste 1 tbsp
• Red chilli powder 2 tsp
• Roasted cumin seeds 2 tsp
• ½ tsp Nutmeg and mace powder
• 2 tbsp Raw papaya paste
• 1 tsp Salt
• ½ cup Oil
• Green chili paste for garnishing
How to make Banarsi Kebab
METHOD:
• Marinate meat in yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chilies, green chilies, papaya, turmeric, tomato paste, cumin, nutmeg, mace, all spices and salt. Set aside.
• Layer a steel dish with meat, potatoes, tomatoes, capsicums and onions in this order.
• Pour oil on top, cover with aluminum foil and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°c for 45 minutes.
• Now garnish it and serve.
• Note: If the dish seems watery, cook it on stove.
