I recommend you to give him/her vegetables first then gradually move-on with fruits, and whole-grains like rice, barley, and oats. Vegetables, and fruits purees, boiled peas,yogurt, cheese, and weetabix are just few examples in this regards.
I suggest you to start with veggies because normally they are hard to adjust. If the baby will get accustomed with it well, it will pave gateway to all the food items digestion, and assimilation. All the very best.
