میدے کو چھان کر اس میں 25ملی لیٹر گھی ملا کر اچھی طرح گوندھ لیجئے۔ ملائم ہو جائے تو چھوٹے چھوٹے پیڑے بنا کر رکھ لیجئے۔ ایک دیگچی میں 50ملی لیٹر گھی ڈال کر گرم کیجئے اور اس میں سوجی ڈال دیجئے۔ بادام ، پستہ ، ناریل اور سبز الائچی ڈال کر سوجی کو خوب بھونئے اور سوجی کا رنگ بادامی ہو جائے تو اس میں چینی ڈال کر مزید تھوڑی دیر بھونئے اور پھر اتار کر رکھ لیجئے۔اب میدے کے پیڑوں کو روٹی کی طرح بیل لیجئے۔ آدھے حصے میں تیار شدہ سوجی بھر کر اور دوسرا حصہ موڑ کر اوپر رکھتے ہوئے تکونی شکل کا سموسہ بنا لیجئے اور کناروں کو اچھی طرح بند کر دیجئے تاکہ تلتے وقت سموسہ کھل نہ جائے۔ فرائی پین یا کڑاہی میں گھی ڈال کر گرم کیجئے اور ان سموسوں کو اس میں تل لیجئے۔ سموسوں کا رنگ بادامی ہوجائے تو نکال لیجئے۔ لذیذ میٹھے سموسے تیار ہیں۔
