250 gm Gram flour
1 Onion
4 Green chilies
1 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp leveled Salt
1 tsp heaped Chili powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric
for gravy
1/2 cup Oil
1 Onion chopped
1/2 cup Yogurt
1 tsp Chili powder.
1/4 tsp Turmeric.
1/2 tsp Garlic paste.
1/2 tsp Salt.
1/2 tsp All spice
2 tsp Coriander powder
2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
METHOD:
For Khandviyan:
In a blender put 1 chopped onion, 4 green chilies, 1 tsp garlic paste, ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp chili powder and 250 gm gram flour with ½ cup water, blend to form it into a medium consistency paste, put this mixture in a pan and cook stirring all the time till thick and forms into a dough, grease a tray, spread this mixture, level and cut into strips, keep aside.
For Gravy:
Heat ½ cup oil, add 1 chopped onion, fry till light golden, add ½ tsp garlic paste, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp chili powder and 2 tsp coriander powder, add ¼ cup water, fry well, add ½ cup beaten yogurt, now add 1 to 1 ½ cup water, when gravy starts boiling, add khandviya with ½ tsp all spice powder and 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, cook for 5 minutes and remove.
