2 tbsp oil
1/2 kg mutton mince
1/2 cup dahi
2 inch piece ginger, chopped
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp paprika powder
1 tbsp garam masala powder
1/2 kg rice, soaked for 20 minutes
1 tsp saffron, soaked in cup warm water
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1 cup pine nuts, toasted
How to make Kashmiri Qeema Pilao
METHOD:
Heat oil, add mince and sauté, add garam masala powder, corianderpowder, salt, ginger, paprika powder, curd and cook till mince is browned.
Add rice, saffron, milk, salt and water to cook rice. When rice is done, stir in pinenuts and transfer to an ovenproof dish and bake at 190 degrees for 10-15 minutes or till completely done.
