Chicken Pakora Recipe

About Recipe

Boneless Chicken Pieces: 500 grams
Oil: 2 tablespoons
Ground Cumin: 1 Teaspoon
Salt: 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Chopped Green Chillies (Jalapeno): 1-2 each
1 Chopped Onion
Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 Teaspoon
Vinegar: 2 Teaspoons
1 Cup Curd
Lemon juIce: 1 Teaspoon


How to make Chicken Pakora



* Put all the ingredients in the blender except chicken and batter. Blend them well.

* Soak pieces of chicken in blend.

* Keep the stuff in refrigerator for 45 minutes.

* Now take the chicken out of the fridge and put in batter.

* Fry the chicken deep until it gets golden brown colored.

* Hot crisply pakoras are ready to serve. Eat with mint, coriander chutney or with tomato ketchup.

Chicken Pakoda might be new for some guys. Everyone eats usual pakoray like palak, aloo, baingan or methi but there is less awareness about chicken pakoday. So if you have seen it for the first time, you must give it a try. Chicken Pakora also written Chicken Pakoda is a type of appetizer snacks. It is served in specialized restaurants or at functions where it is part of the menu. Although, there is no limit of pakoda recipes however some of the most popular ones are:



Chicken pakodas are liked by everyone and that's why it's recipe is followed in homes frequently. But still many women are unaware of this simple light snack. In Pakistan, pakorey are cooked for Iftaar as a must but they are simple pakore made with gram flour, spinach or fenugreek. Very few have tried this at Iftaar. Recipe is very simple. Chicken is marinated with spices, coated with gram flour and then deep fried in karahi. You will get them ready to eat after 5 to 6 minutes frying.

Like other recipes, chicken pakoda can also be made with different methods however main ingredients remain the same. You can tune the spices, as per your taste, according to your choice and even a slight change in the spices may introduce entirely a new taste. my mother makes very delicious chicken pakoray, we love it especially in the rainy weather. Pakora is the best snack to enjoy when it rains. It also goes good in winter evenings. I like it and suggest you to make this pakora, this is winter season now and a beautiful snow fall in many areas of Pakistan.

My memories are refresh after seeing this recipe, my family ate it at darya-e-neelam point in Murree during summer trip as they called "Chicho Pakora" . I enjoyed a lot to have this dish and also the picnic point with natural romantic environment.
