Aloo ki Bhujia Recipe

Aloo ki Bhujia is a very famous recipe in Pakistani culture. Alu bhuja is cooked usually every week in homes in Pakistan. is sharing hereby an excellent recipe to prepare Potato bhaji in Urdu.

• 1 onion finely chopped
• 4 tablespoons vegetable Oil
• 500g (1 1/4 lb) Potatoes, peeled and dIced
• 1 Teaspoon Salt
• 1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne pepper
• 1/2 Teaspoon ground turmeric
• 1/4 Teaspoon ground cumin
• 2 Tomatoes finely chopped
1. Brown onion lightly in oil through medium size frying pan.
2. Stir in salt, cayenne, turmeric and cumin then add potatoes and cook till 10 minutes and stirring occasionally.
3. Add tomatoes, cover pan and cook until potatoes are soft, about 10 minutes. Then gurnish it through coriander and serve hot Aloo ki Bhujia.

Although making a potato bhujia recipe is not so difficult and every girl knows to cook it but how to make even tastier?

This recipe does the thing. is sharing a decent recipe to prepare a delicious potato dish. The spices used in the recipe make it amazing. Use of cayenne pepper, turmeric, cumin, tomatoes and salt, all combine up and deliver a taste that you wouldn't have enjoyed in any of the potato recipes.

The peppers we have used so far are red pepper, paprika, black pepper but I have no idea about cayenne pepper. Would you make it a bit clearer? And for example , if it is not available what to do? which one to use in replacement?

This alo bhujia looks very delicious as shown in the picture and it's roti looks also very tasty and crispy. I am putting a glance on the recipe to see what additional requires to make it. Plus I need the recipe of the roti as well. Roti as exactly shown in the pic.

aloo bhujia with green chatni and a little bowl of achar - that's my favourite meal . Also give me a hot white tandoori naan. Not only mine but my wife and mother also like as their prime choice for meal. They keep cooking it :). They make it once in the week and we all enjoy it together.

masalay dar aloo ki bhujia the most delicious food in my opinion. I like it and I ask women to roast potatoes more for making them more delicious and spicy. I also like other dishes of potatoes such as aloo baingan, anda aloo and alu methi.

Wow looks beautiful in the picture ; it must be in taste too. aloo bhujia is very common here in Canada among desi guys of Pakistan and India and other Asian. Eat it with a raita touch for more addition in the taste.
