3 red eating apples
3 tablespoons lemon juice
5 sticks celery
60 g (2 oz/ 1/3 cup) walnuts, roughly chopped
½ teaspoon caraway seeds
125 ml (4 fl oz/ ½ cup) Mayonnaise
walnut halves and celery leaves, to garnish
How to make WALDORF SALAD
METHOD:
Cut apples into quarters and remove cores; dice them and put into a bowl with lemon juice.
Thinly slice celery, add to the apple with the walnuts and caraway seeds. Mix together, then stir in the mayonnaise.
Spoon the apple and celery into a bowl and serve garnished with walnut halves and celery leaves.
