Refined flour 3 cups
Sugar 1 cup
Clarified butter 1 cup
Eggs (Separates yolks from whites) 3
Pistachios (chopped) 50 grams
Green cardamom (powdered) ¼ tsp
Baking soda ½ tsp
Baking Powder 2 tsp
Semolina 4 tbsp
Condensed milk 4 tbsp
METHOD:
• Beat clarified butter, sugar and egg yolks in a bowl till creamy.
• Add condensed milk, baking soda, baking powder, semolina, flour and cardamom; knead into dough.
• Make small biscuits out of dough; place on baking tray; brush egg whites on them.
• Sprinkle pistachios on biscuits; bake biscuits in a pre-heated oven at 170O C for 20 mintues; remove and serve hot.
