2 green eating apples
juice of ½ lemon
125 g (4 oz) smoked cheese, cubed
250 g (8 oz) brie, or 1 whole camembert, sliced
4 sticks celery, sliced
185 g (6 oz ) grapes
celery leaves or mustard and cress, to garnish
LEMON MAYONNAISE:
½ quantity Mayonnaise,
½ teaspoon finely grated lemon peel
2 teaspoons lemon juice
How to make CHEESE & FRUIT PLATTER
METHOD:
Quarter and core the apples, then slice and place in a bowl with the lemon juice. Stir to coat. Arrange cubed and sliced the cheese and the apple slices on 4 plates.
Make an attractive pattern with the celery and grapes. Garnish with celery leaves or mustard and cress. To make the mayonnaise, mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Serve the mayonnaise separately.
