Try to control the symptoms of GERD by eradicating the cause of the disease. For that avoid caffeine, tobacco and dairy. Take fiber rich diet. Eat in 5 frequent small meals, and don't eat three hours before going to bed. Also drink lots of water, and do regular exercise. Also if you can then run a Food allergy test. And practice relaxation techniques to avoid stress, and anxiety that triggers GERD , and it's symptoms
