پہلے کڑاہی میں تیل گرم کر کے ادرک لہسن کا پیسٹ اور چکن کے ٹکڑوں کو شامل کر کے اتنا بھونیں کے چکن گولڈن ہوجائے۔ پھر اس میں پھینٹی ہوئی دہی، زردے کا رنگ اور نمک شامل کر کے ہلکی آنچ پر دم پر پکنے دیں ۔ 8-10منٹ کے بعد اس میں ہری مرچ ، کٹی کالی مرچ ،تِل اور لیموں کا رس شامل کر یں ۔ اور آنچ تیز کر کے دو سے تین منٹ تک مزید بھونیں ۔مزیدار نمکین چکن تیار ہے۔
