Ingredients

Wholemeal macaroni 375 g
Olive oil 1 tbsp
Garlic 2 cloves
Button mushrooms 250 g
Tomatoes drained and cut in to strip 6
Fresh basil 2 tbsp
Black pepper

How to make Macaroni with Basil

METHOD:

• Cook macaroni in boiling water in a large sauce pans following packets direction, Drain set aside keep warm.
• Heat oil in a large frying pan and cook garlic, mushroom and tomatoes over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Stir in basil and season to taste with black pepper
• Add macaroni to mushroom mixture and toss to combine. Serve
