Coconut: 1/2
Tamarind: a little
Red chillies: 10
Salt: to taste
Urad dal: 1tsp(grinded)
Mustard seeds: 1tsp
Oil: 2 tsp
Chana dal: 1tsp(grinded)
hing: 1 pinch
Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
few red chilli pieces and Curry leaves


How to make Coconut Chutny



1. shred coconut.
2. fry red chillies in a small pan and then grind them with coconut, tmarind and salt, add some water.
3. heat oil add urad dall, chana dal, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chillies, hing and curry leaves.
4. add this seasoning to the coconut chutny when mustard seeds start spluttering.
coconut chutny is ready.
