Hi what is the difference between khichra haleem and other haleem dishes? khichra is i think a kind of daal which is used in this recipe which improves the taste as compared to others. I am now looking for a quick recipe which can be made for iftar within an hour? That's not possible to make whole night haleem , all we can give one hour in kitchen in ramadan.

Haleem or daleem, I love it. It is particularly my fav. one for making on Eid as guests always appreciate it. I make it in stove pan and it is good though but I want to get the taste which comes in daig cooking. I think there must be some trick for it but I don't know about that. and if I didn't know it, will still make it in my kitchen stove.

Haleem is really amazing. Can't believe this much delicious things can be cooked. If you start eating it, it's hard to stop yourself. That's the best thing I like to eat as a main course meal. I always try to eat degi haleem, not the home cooked one. Its true taste is obtained when cooked in large daig pan.
