Bohri Akni is a special dish from Bohra cuisine. It is a pulao-like rice dish prepared in a particular manner. It uses garlic cloves, fennel, dried ginger, bay leaves, onions, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and red chilies which all are added into a bag. That spice bag is then cooked along the meat to infuse the taste into the meat. This is the procedure of yakhni. Later this yakhni is added to rice to finalize the dish.
