• 1 lb Beef, in 1-inch cubes
• 1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
• 1/2 pint yogurt
• 8 ounces Ghee
• 2 Onions, slIced
• 2 ounces fresh Ginger
• 4 Garlic Cloves, finely chopped
• 2 Teaspoons ground Coriander
• 1 Teaspoon Garam masala
• 1/2 Teaspoon ground red chili pepper
• 2 Teaspoons paprika
• 1/2 Teaspoon ground cumin
• 2 Teaspoons turmeric


How to make Beef Pasanda



1. Rub the salt into the meat. In a bowl marinate the meat in the yogurt for 24 hours in the refrigerator.
2. In a heavy pan melt the ghee and fry the onions till golden.
3. Add the garlic and ginger and all of the spices, stir and cook for 5 mins over low heat.
4. Add the meat and the yogurt mix and cook till the meat is tender about 50 minutes.
5. Serve with as a side dish of curried okra and boiled rice.

pasande is a nice dish that I have always liked to eat. But it is cooked seldom, only on bakra eid days. However if i got a chance to make it or eat, i will avail that chance. Thank you for sharing its recipe, it is amazing I would also like to enjoy cooking it at home.

By the way, I like chicken tikka and mutton karahi but I also like beef pasanda recipe and also some other beef & mutton recipes to enjoy at home with all my family members.

I am reading and listening lots of things about pasanda, its recipes, watching people saying its name etc. but what a coincidence that I have never happened to eat it. Have seen this recipe today and decided at the moment to make it and taste it and solve the mystery of pasanda... :) Hope it will be a happy eating..

pasanday are very tasty , whenever papa goes to buy meat, i ask them to bring beef pasanda pieces so we could enjoy delicious spicy pasanday with hot roti . my mummy and papa also like it so they don't refuse me for making it. I am also looking for mutton pasanda recipe to make on eid ul adha.
