1. Wash meat and place in colander.

2. Heat oil in a pan and add meat, ginger, salt and coriander powder. Cook until liquid is dried.


3. Add two glasses of water to make the meat tender.


4. Sprinkle salt and fry potatoes, onions and tomatoes separately.


5. On the tender meat, place a layer of potatoes and sprinkle black pepper. Similarly, make layers of onions and tomatoes and sprinkle black pepper.


6. Finally, put green chilli and sprinkle black pepper and place for dam.


7. When potatoes are tender, afghani gosht recipe is ready. Take out in a plate and serve.

Method for Making Afghani Gosht Recipe

Ingredients:

  1. Meat (small pieces) : 1/2 kg

  2. Coriander powder : 1 tablespoon

  3. Crushed Ginger: 1 tablespoon

  4. Potatoes (cut round slices) : 1/4 kg

  5. Onions: (cut spiral) : 3

  6. Tomatoes: (cut round slices) : 4

  7. Black pepper powder : 1 teaspoon

  8. Green chilli : 4 to 5 pcs

  9. Oil : 1/2 mug

  10. Water : 2 glasses

  11. Salt : as per taste

Method

  1. Wash meat and place in colander in order to dessicate the meat.

  2. Heat two tablespoon oil in a pan and add meat, ginger, salt and coriander powder. Mix well and cook until liquid is dried.

  3. Add two glasses of water and cook on low flame to make the meat tender. When water is reduced to half glass amount, remove the pan from flame.

  4. Pour remaining oil in a frying pan and fry potatoes, sprinkle a pinch of salt; do not fry too much. Similarly, fry onions and tomatoes for two minutes; both separately.

  5. Now place a layer of fried potatoes and sprinkle black pepper powder; in the same way, place layer of tomatoes and finally cut green chilli in length and place layer in the pan. Sprinkle black pepper powder and place on low flame for dam.

  6. As potatoes are tender, a delicious afghani gosht is ready.
