Ingredients

Mix egg, water, vinegar, lemon juice and yellow food coloring in a bowl and mix well.

Beat slightly and add salt, gram flour, crushed coriander, crushed red chilli, crushed garlic, crushed ginger, black cumin, white cumin and green chillies.

Mix well and make batter.

Put fish into batter.

Mix and place in refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Fry fish in pan.
|

Garnish with mint, coriander and lemon wedges.

Serve with tomato ketchup and chilli garlic sauce.

How to Make Lahori Fish
|
Ingredients:
- Fish Fillet: 1/2 kg
- Gram Flour: 1/8 kg (125 grams)
- Egg: 1
- Crushed Coriander: 1 tsp
- Crushed Red Chillies: 1 tsp
- Yellow Food Coloring: 1/2 tsp
- Crushed Garlic: 1 tsp
- Crushed Ginger: 1 tsp
- Black Cumin: 1/2 tsp
- White Cumin: 1 tsp
- Vinegar: 2 tbsp
- Lemon Juice: 2 tbsp
- Water: 1/2 cup or as required
- Salt: 1 tsp or as required
- Green Chillies: 2 to 3 sliced
- Oil: 2 tbsp
- Oil: for frying
- Lemon, Mint and Coriander: for garnishing

Method |
- Add egg, water, vinegar, lemon juice and yellow food coloring in a bowl and mix well.
- Beat slightly, add salt, baisan (gram flour), crushed coriander, crushed red chillies, crushed garlic, crushed ginger, black cumin, white cumin and green chillies.
- Mix well and form a thick batter.
- Add fish to batter.
- Mix well and place in refrigerator for 2 hours to marinade.
- Fry all fish pieces in pan.
- Garnish with mint & coriander leaves and lemon.
- Serve with tomato ketchup and chilli garlic sauce.
