بھارتی ریاست اترپردیش میں مضر صحت کھانا کھانے کے باعث 9 افراد ہلاک ہوگئے۔ حکام کے مطابق واقعہ ضلع برابنکی میں اس وقت پیش آیا جب علاقہ تھل خرد میں مختلف علاقوں سے تعلق رکھنے والے چند رشتہ دار خاندانی تقریب میں شرکت کے لئے اپنے ایک عزیز کے گھر جمع تھے جب ان افراد نے وہاں مضر صحت کھانا کھانے کے بعد گھر کی بنی ہوئی شراب کا استعمال کیا جس کے بعد ان افراد کی طبیعت بگڑنا شروع ہو گئی اور 9 افراد جان کی بازی ہار گئے۔ تاہم مقامی پولیس نے جائے وقوعہ پر پہنچ کر لاشوں کو پوسٹ مارٹم کے لئے ہسپتال منتقل کر دیا ہے جبکہ واقعہ سے متعلق سخت کارروائی کا آغاز کر دیا گیا ہے ۔
