لہسن۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ چار سے چھ جوے
دارچینی۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ ایک عدد
لونگ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ چھ سے آٹھ
نمک۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ ایک ٹی اسپون
لال مرچ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ ایک ٹیبل اسپون
سرکہ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ آدھا کپ
چینی۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ تین چوتھائی کپ

ٹماٹر کو چوپ کر کے پین میں ڈالیں ساتھ ہی پیاز اور لہسن،دار چینی،لونگ ڈال کر دو کپ پانی ڈال کر گلا لیں۔جب بلکل سوفٹ ہو جائے تو چھنا لے کر اس میں ٹماٹر والا مکسچر ڈال کر اچی طرح مسلیں کہ تمام جوس نکل جائے اور دوبارہ پکنے رکھیے ساتھ نمک،چینی لال، کالی مرچ ڈال دیں ۔بیس منٹ پکائیں پھر سرکہ ڈال کر گرینڈ کر لیں ۔لیجے کیچپ تیار ہے۔

ٹماٹر کو چوپ کر کے پین میں ڈالیں ساتھ ہی پیاز اور لہسن،دار چینی،لونگ ڈال کر دو کپ پانی ڈال کر گلا لیں۔جب بلکل سوفٹ ہو جائے تو چھنا لے کر اس میں ٹماٹر والا مکسچر ڈال کر اچی طرح مسلیں کہ تمام جوس نکل جائے اور دوبارہ پکنے رکھیے ساتھ نمک،چینی لال، کالی مرچ ڈال دیں ۔بیس منٹ پکائیں پھر سرکہ ڈال کر گرینڈ کر لیں ۔لیجے کیچپ تیار ہے۔

How to Make Tomato Ketchup from Scratch

Ingredients

  • Tomatoes: 2 kg
  • Onion: 1 medium
  • Garlic: 4 to 6 cloves
  • Cinnamon: 1 stick
  • Cloves: 6 to 8 pcs
  • Salt: 1 tsp
  • Red Pepper: 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar: 1/2 cup
  • Sugar: 3/4 cup


Method

  • Chop tomatoes and add to frying pan.
  • Without delay, add onions, garlic cloves, cinnamon, and 2 cups of water. Cook until tenderized.
  • Once fully softened, put the mixture into a sieve. Rub well to pass the liquid through the sieve.
  • Cook again with salt, sugar, red and black pepper.
  • Cook for 20 minutes, add vinegar and grind.
  • Easy homemade ketchup is ready to use.
  • Enjoy with your snacks.

I have now eaten many types of condiments such as imli chatni, sauces and chili garlic sauce but now i have realized that tomato ketchup is best ever thing.. others are sour which may affect the throat that's why I always choose ketchups. and this time i will make a homemade ketchup.

Hi, assalam o alaikum, i was looking for tomato ketchup recipe for so many days but first my friend gave me a recipe that i was not able to understand, then i found a recipe which was from an indian website and very difficult. then i got couple of other recipes and then finally chosen this one to implement.

Sweetness of tomatoes keep the ketchup more preferred over other chutney recipes that are sour though. That is why I always keep a bottle of ketchup at my home. Whenever we eat samosas, rolls, kababs, or any other snack, we eat it with the ketchup.

Sometimes tomato ketchup is prepared very nice but too spicy. Hi, I want to make it but besides wanna keep it less spicy. It's moderate taste seems always ok, I always wanted to make it with fresh tomatoes thats why I have preferred making it at home.

thanks, I can though understand Urdu but still I would request to provide this tomato ketchup recipe in English as well. I have gathered many sauces recipes which I keep making time to time however I find more and make them with my family members.
