بادام پستے(باریک کٹے ہوئے)۔۔۔4 کھانے کے چمچے
زعفعران۔۔۔2/1 چائےکا چمچہ
کیوڑہ۔۔۔ایک چائےکا چمچہ
بادام، پستے، زعفران۔۔۔۔سجانے کےلئے

ترکیب:
چاولوں کو رات بھر کے لئے بھگوکر رکھیں پھر ہاتھوں سے انہیں باریک پیس لیں۔ دیگچی میں دودہ ابالیں اور اس میں چاولوں کو نرم ہونے تک پکائیں۔ اس میں چینی ڈال کر 15 منٹ تک پکائیں، پھر سوکھا ہوا دودہ، اور بادام پستے ملا کر گاڑھا ہونے تک پکا کر چولہا بند کر دیں۔ اس میں زعفران اور کیورہ ملائیں اور مٹی کی چھوٹی چھوٹی مٹکیوں میں نکالیں، پھر بادام پستے اور زعفران سے سجا کر پیش کریں۔

saffron is the best spice in the world. It's aroma turns the food into very special thing . But it is very expensive , once I went to buy it , I was shocked to know its price. I bought it for Rs. 50 and got 3 to 4 strands only.

pudding is my favorite dish but this seems to be bit different. I know my mom used to make Rafhan pudding mix which was yellow in color but this seems like a kheer that is why it took my interest and so as i will be making it soon.

That is dish I was looking for long time.. I was search an accurate recipe of delhi kheer and most probably this is the exact thing that I was seeking. Most of the sweets and main course dishes belong to Mughals and today many of the recipes are not the same as they should be, therefore I am making a collection of original recipes and this seems to be one of them. thanx

delhi is just a name , the actual recipe is presented by cooks of Mughal empire. Mughal rulers paid special attention to introduce lots of new tastes by adding various spices in cooking such as cardamom, almonds, star anise and so on.

This rice pudding is the best dessert as compared to kheer and phirni. It has the best taste and feel to eat; in general I keep eating kheer, custard, phirni and other sweet dishes but this pudding is the best I have ever eaten. You guys also try it.
