Gulab Jamun Recipe

Gulab Jamun Recipe in English is an easy and traditional cooking recipe to prepare at home. It provides you an awesome taste of Riwaiti Mithaiyan.

Dry Milk 1 cup
All purpose flour ( maida) 1 tablespoon
Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
Egg 1
Oil 1 tablespoon
Cardamoms 7 crushed.
Water as needed to make dough
Oil for deep frying

For decoration

Almonds crushed 8-9 ( optional)
Pistachios crushed 8-9 ( optional)


How to make Gulab Jamun



Pour sugar and crushed cardamoms into water and cook until sugar totally dissolves. There is no need to check for consistency or taar in it.
In dry milk, put all ingredients and knead it well. Make tiny balls out of it and fry it on medium flame until it turns brown in colour.
It depends how you like gulab jamun , if you like darker colour, then fry it a bit more. Garnish it with pistachio and almonds ( optional)

Recently i saw its recipe which does not use milk , now here i see it uses the milk. Which will be tastier? Let me get an idea and then I will choose the appropriate recipe according to my taste.

wow its my love , it is wonderful sweet i have ever eaten. Gulab jamun is the most eaten sweets in Pakistan and I think its origin is Bangladesh, and it is also eaten there at large scale. I love it and I would love to have it when I make it myself.

nice recipe for gulab jamans. I have reviewed the recipe and analyzed that i can make it very easily. however a bit uncertain about making it perfectly. anyway i will start and share about it's taste. I hope it would be great to taste.
