Gram Flour Sweet (Mysore Pak) Recipe
Gram Flour Sweet (Mysore Pak) is really healthy traditional cooking recipe. It is very easy to prepare and gives you unique taste of Indian Recipes
Prepare a syrup by dissolving then boiling the sugar in the water for three minutes. Meanwhile, heat 2 oz. butter in a frying pan and add the sifted gram flour. Fry for two minutes stirring constantly. Add the syrup and continue to cook, stirring all the time for three minutes. Now add the rest of the butter, a small piece at a time, letting each piece be absorbed before adding the next. Cook gently until the mixture begins to fall away from the sides of the pan about 15 minutes. Be careful not to burn. Pour into a flat, greased tin, sprinkle with nutmeg and leave to set. Cut into squares or diamond shapes before it becomes completely cool.
