250 gm Butter
250 gm plain Chocolate broken in to pieces
100 gm white Chocolate , broken in to pieces
4 medium eggs
175 gm Sugar
1 tsp vanilla Essence
75 gm plain flour
¼ tsp Baking powder
1 tbsp Cocoa powder
100 gm Walnuts
Pinch of Salt
A little icing Sugar for dust


How to make Double Chocolate Browine



Preheat the oven to 200 degree c.. grease a 8 inch square shallow tin and base line baking parchment.melt the butter and chocolate in a heat proof bowl set over the pan of gently simmer water, making sure the base of the water doesnt touch the water.remove the bowl from the pan and set aside .
In a separate bowl , melt the white chocolate over the pan of gently simmer water.remove the bowl from the pan and set aside.
Put the eggs in to a separate large bowl. Add the sugar and vanilla essence and mix until the mixture is pale and thick.. add the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, nuts and salt to the bowl, then pour in the dark chocolate mixture.using a large metal spoon, gently foald the ingredients together to make a smooth batter. If u fold to roughly, the chocolate will seize up and become unusable.
Pour the brownie mixture in to the prepared pan . spoon dollops of the white chocolate over the top,then swirl the skewer through it several times to create a marbled effect. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. The brownie should be fudge inside and the top should be crisp and cracked.leave to cool in the tin.
Transfer the brownies. To serve, dust with a little icing sugar and cocoa powder.
