Boneless Chicken ½ kg (cut into 1 inch cubes)
Capsicum 1 (cut into small squares)
Onion 1 (cut into small squares)
Egg 1
Tomatoes 2 (chopped)
Green chilies 4 (chopped)
Oil ½ cup
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Chili sauce 2 tsp
Ketchup 2 tsp
Black pepper ½ tsp (crushed)
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp (chopped)
Marinate chicken cubes with salt, chili powder, black pepper, chili sauce and ketchup for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a wok.
Fry garlic paste with tomatoes for 5 minutes.
Add marinated chicken, cook till chicken is done and oil starts to float.
In a frying pan heat oil, fry cubed capsicum and onion for 2 minutes till soft.
Beat eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper, fry and slice in cubes.
Add fried capsicum, onion and omelet cubes to cooked chicken.
Garnish with chopped coriander and green chilies.
Serve hot.

Jalfrezi (also written as zalfrezi, jaffrazi, jhal frezi etc.) is a curry recipe from Pakistani cuisine in which marinated chicken, fish or vegetables are deep fried in order to form a thick dry sauce. Chicken Jalfrezi Recipe includes mainly chicken cubes or boneless chicken pieces. Additionally, it involves capsicums, onions, eggs, tomatoes, salt, red and green chili, coriander and garlic sauce. Jalfrezi is eaten medium hot, very hot or cool. When eaten cool, it is mixed with cream. It is unknown who invented Jalfrezi, however, here KFoods is providing with the recipe of Chef Shireen Anwar.

There is plentiful chicken always at my home which comes as part of our monthly ration. Generally, I cook chicken stew, steam chicken and chicken biryani but sometimes I need more options bcoz I am fed up of usual things. So I started searching some chicken recipes and found this jalfrezi so I am going to give this a try tomorrow.

jalfrezi is very interesting dish. I have eat it sometimes , it is sweet and sour somewhere whereas sometimes it is only spicy. I went to a restaurant , I ordered it for Rs. 450 and then the waiter said that you need to order rice also with it which costed me another 400 rs. Always make these types of recipes at home, never make mistake to eat them at any hotels.

Loving it , soon going to cook it myself. Among lots of Chinese chicken recipes, I like very few and one of them is jalfrezi. Now need to make it just need a few ingredients and then i am going to make it soon.

Chicken jalfrezzi is sweet sour chicken? isn't it? I like spicy chicken only because meat tastes good when eaten with spices. Sweet chicken ... umm, no, I don't like it. But I like spicy chinese chicken foods. I like chicken chili, chinese rice and noodles as well.
